Week 2 Report

It is a sad, sad admission that I must make. After having a stellar first week, I totally screwed up the second week. Wow. Really, it sucked.
I have all the excuses and more. The kids were sick or busy. I was sick AND busy. My husband stayed up WAY too late and I did not sleep well because of it (his computer is temporarily in our bedroom while the office is remodeled) and he’s on a programming mission these days. The biggest mistake I made? That one is easy: I DID NOT PLAN MY MEALS FOR THE WEEK! Duh! It was like I totally forgot. I have the memory staying power of a goldfish. Or a hamster. Or a doorknob. At times. But, this is what I do. I start something with all the gung-ho mentatlity, but fizzle quickly and not merely give up, but I forget I was even doing it to begin with….Until months later.
Solution? I am adding yet another challenge to my already long list of things to remember:
- Jenny’s BigSliceOff. Go check it out. (Thanks Jenny!)
- Menu Plan for the week.
- Workout Schedule (and logs)…continuing.
- Accountability, people! That was another thing I failed to do…blog my days. You know, out of sight, WAY out of my mind.
So… this afternoon, I will be making my menu.
