Something New

In the midst of this holiday season, my current state of being all pms-ing (bloat, man, the bloat!), and far too many stops at Starbucks (at the grocery store no less, though in my defense they were only tall, non-fat lattes!) I have decided I need to regroup.

I say this a lot. I know. Believe me, I know.

I read Skwigg’s blog a lot. A while back (probably a long while) she had passed along a four week long fitness program. It is all bodyweight exercises and I have decided that this may just be the thing to carry me through December. It came with four week programs for beginner, intermediate, and advanced, which technically can mean twelve weeks worth of a program! However, twelve weeks is something I cannot deal with. Four weeks I see as doable. Promising even.

Turbulence Training. I am starting in the morning. Why in the morning? Tomorrow is December 1st. A new month. Day one will literally be day one.

According to the program, I can be finished in 45 minutes or less, depending on whether I do cardio after the strength workout or on non-strength workout days. Yippee!

In addition, I am making a fresh commitment to drinking my daily allotment of water and eating sufficient veggies.

Ack! I’ve backslid a bit. Today is Wednesday and apparently I sat on my butt much of the day. Yes, I was online a bit. Yes, I played games with my little girl. Yes, I supervised finger painting and we read, too.

Wow. Need to do better tomorrow. Way better! (I’m only tracking for the week, though, remember?)

Better than yesterday, but barely. Still less than half the 10,000, but, again, barely less than half.

I didn’t go anywhere today (again) until this evening when one girl had ballet the other girl had basketball practice (and then I only really drove anywhere).
