Progress Report

I cannot report much progress today. I spent about a week tending to a sick little girl and getting sick myself. I can say, though, that I haven’t made progress so much as I’ve maintained. Thanksgiving was nice since we went elsewhere. The only leftovers that came home with us was half a bottle of sparkling cider (1. because the girls are the only ones who’ll drink it and 2. because it had a twist off cap!). Plus, the stuffage that usually occurs, didn’t. Yay!

One backslide that has occurred involves the physical well being end of it. I haven’t been exercising much lately. It is cold and wet and just plain nasty outside, so I haven’t even been going out much. I can tell by the way my hip joints and my feet feel. Sore. VERY sore. For me, it seems, for now, there is a very fine line between overuse and underuse pain. Either one sucks, but at the least overuse one seems more positive.

This week, I am going to do phase I for a few days. It will be particularly hard with the onset of the premenstrual starvation pangs I get. I have. I am also going to exercise everyday this week alternating a strength workout with a cardio on (likely to be only 20 minutes HIIT workouts on my recumbent bike).

So far so good.
