I’ve been nursing headaches for the better part of 3 weeks. It is nothing like it was that first week. The second week was almost completely gone, but seems to be back the last few days. Mild, but there.
I have continued to update the Steps Page even though I have not posted daily about it lately.
There have been a few days where I had not gotten quite all of my water, but not by much.
I seem to be sleeping better last week, but not so well the last two nights (I think the air is too dry again).
Sounds really sad, doesn’t it?
I restarted Turbulence Training. I began with the Introductory Workout A on Friday (strength plus cardio on my bike). Saturday and Sunday called for “light activity” and that’s what I did. Today, Monday, calls for Workout B which will have to be later in the afternoon today.
Today sucked for my step count.
I woke up with a mild headache that got worse as I was awake. I finally was able to take some Advil and kind of a nap for about an hour or so. The kind with one ear out for the little one next to me watching cartoons (Noggin, for the moment). I felt so much better afterwards, but it also meant I missed my group workout and the playdate for my little one.
Here goes the bad news:

- Water: 71.7 ounces
I am finding the water is going down pretty easily! The three bottle thing, I’m sure, is what is doing it for me. Yippee!!!
Phew! My steps for Monday were better than Friday. I got in my water. Barely. I still want milder weather. Soon.

All in all a decent recovery from the weekend (particularly Sunday). I still need to do better and consistent. Oh, and workout. Consistently.
The weekend really was not good for me in terms of…everything!
Saturday was not too bad. It could have been better. Steps were less than Friday (a little). I did get my water in. Barely.

Sunday was a different story altogether. While I did leave the house, it was to go see a movie, then sit and chat with friends. I didn’t get all my water in either. It is, however, an eye-opener.
- Steps: 2333
- Water: 47.4 oz
Consistency is a huge factor in all of this. Motivation? A contributing factor, I’m sure. Everyone being home and sitting around, playing (sit down) games, and movies is a huge factor on the weekends.
I sure cannot wait for milder weather (not so much the mucky & muddy part) to be able to spend more time outside. It’s difficult thing to do right now when the temperatures have been between zero and ten degrees during the day.
Perhaps, I need to re-evaluate. I am thinking that my “during the week” goal is to do better than the previous day. While my “weekend” goal needs to be to not backslide and undo everything I accomplished during the week (in other words, to maintain my week’s work).
